Why Having A Coach Is Important.

If I were to be Proud Poem by John Ukpanukpong

In the cool of the day, in come the little boy.
In the house, here sits the old boy.
The little boy sat beside the old boy and asked the old boy
"What would you be proud of if you were to be proud?"
The old boy smiled with sense of humility.
He looked at the little boy with his deem scary eyes and said
"If I were to be proud, I would be proud that I don't share the same oxygen as other humans  but I do.
If I were to be proud, I would be proud that I never  made mistakes like other humans but I do.
If I were to be proud, I would be proud that I never cried, laugh or felt pain like other humans but I do.
If I were to be proud, I would be proud that I never loved being loved like other humans but I do.
If I were to be proud,  I would be proud  that I never hunger and thirst for food and water but I do.
If I were to be proud, I would proud that I never pass out faeces, fart or urinate like other humans but I do.
If I were to be proud, I would be proud that I never needed anyone to succeed but I sure do
If I were to be proud, I would be proud that I was the only island of knowledge which I am not
If I were to be proud, I would be proud that I can never grow old like other humans but I am already old.
If I were to be proud, I would be proud that  I will never respond to death's call like other humans, but here with me is death at my side.
The old boy broke into tears seeing his minutes were numbered and the clock was ticking faster than normal.
He turned to the little boy and said " there's nothing to be proud of
,son.
Never trample upon people because of your achievements or because you think you better than them .
We all have one common denominator as humans rich or poor.
Never make people feel unimportant, it is the grace of God.
But I am only proud of one thing"  he smiled
"I connected with my Maker and used His gift to bless humanity".
As he finished speaking, the cold hands of death was waiting for him like a hungry lion ready to devour it's prey.
He smiled once again and waved goodbye to the little boy and kicked the bucket.
